Filming “Outcasts” in South Africa
For many years I worked as my Husband’s assistant in the British Film and TV Industry. This has included work on set and on location, as well as in post-production. My official title was “Visual Effects Assistant”, which basically meant I did anything and everything. I have worked abroad with my Husband on a few occasions and whilst this sounds glamorous, it can be anything but. It often meant long hours and only 1 day off a week, tourist activities were usually abandoned in favour of doing laundry, shopping for food, and sleeping.
